When the lights go out in the city

It is 9.30 and I am sitting in the office in Kajo Keji trying to finish up some work. They have just shut down the generator (who knows why), so I am at a desk, on the porch wearing my headlamp with every bug in a 20 mile radius crashing in to my face since this is the only light source.

I'd go up to the guest house, but I have to negotiate the village paths and the river and I'm just not quite up for it yet.

Sigh.
